Why I chose BBTRS®

In 2017, I stepped away from the conventional workforce after feeling called to serve others in a more meaningful way. As I began building my practice, I knew breathwork would become an important part of the work I offered.

My search led me to BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System (BBTRS®).

What initially drew me to BBTRS® was its depth. The training was comprehensive, grounded in both science and lived experience, and rooted in a holistic understanding of the connection between the body, mind, emotions, and nervous system. Equally important was its emphasis on safety, support, and meeting people where they are, values that continue to guide my work today.

What I did not expect was how profoundly this work would impact my own life.

As I moved through the training, I began developing a different relationship with myself. I became more aware of the ways the body holds experiences, emotions, and patterns that the mind alone cannot always access. Through the breath, I discovered greater connection, awareness, and trust in my own process.

Since 2019, I have integrated breathwork into sessions, trainings, workshops, and retreats with people from many different backgrounds. From correctional facilities and workforce development programs to private clients and groups across the United States and around the world, I have witnessed the same thing again and again.

People are carrying more than they realize.

Many have become incredibly skilled at functioning, achieving, supporting others, and moving forward. Yet beneath the surface, there is often a longing to feel more connected, more present, and more at home within themselves.

What continues to inspire me about BBTRS® is its ability to create space for that reconnection.

The breath becomes an invitation to slow down, listen differently, and reconnect with the wisdom already present within the body.

I have had the honor of supporting individuals across the United States, England, Ireland, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovakia, and beyond. No matter where someone lives or what their story may be, the human experience is remarkably similar.

We all long to feel connected.

Sometimes the breath is where that journey begins.

The BBTRS® Experience

Every BBTRS® session begins by creating a sanctuary of support.

Together, we establish a resource, a place of safety and support that allows your nervous system to settle and orient to the present moment.

From this foundation, you are invited to become more aware of your internal landscape, noticing sensations, emotions, thoughts, and the subtle messages arising within your body.

Using the six elements of BBTRS® ~ breath, movement, touch, sound, emotional expression, and meditation.

We gently explore areas where tension, protection, or disconnection may be held.

Throughout the process, you are encouraged to move at a pace that feels supportive, building awareness and capacity rather than pushing beyond your limits.

As the breath deepens, many people begin to notice patterns that have been held beneath conscious awareness.

Through the principles of resourcing, pendulation, and titration, BBTRS® supports the nervous system in exploring these experiences with greater steadiness and self-awareness.

The BBTRS® progression is designed as an integrated series that helps energize, open, and balance the whole person.

Sessions often focus on specific "belts of tension," areas of the body where stress, emotional experiences, and protective patterns can become stored over time.

These belts roughly correspond with the chakra system and provide a framework for understanding how the body holds experience.

While a single session can offer meaningful insight and relief, the greatest transformation often occurs through a series of sessions.

As awareness grows, many people develop a deeper relationship with themselves, strengthen emotional intelligence, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges.

The intention is never to fix you.

The intention is to create enough support for you to reconnect with the wisdom already present within you.

From that place, healing, growth, and lasting change become possible.

Every person arrives with a unique story, life experience, and relationship with their body.

My commitment is to meet you where you are.

There is no expectation that you arrive with the right words, a clear understanding of what you are feeling, or a specific outcome you need to achieve.

Together, we create space for curiosity, self-awareness, and exploration at a pace that feels supportive for your nervous system.

I believe that you are the expert of your own experience.

My role is not to tell you what you should feel or how your journey should unfold. Instead, it is to offer guidance, support, and compassionate presence as you reconnect with your own inner wisdom and discover what is true for you.

Some sessions may feel expansive. Others may feel quiet and reflective. Both are valuable.

I am committed to creating a space where you can listen more deeply to yourself, strengthen your capacity for self-awareness, and develop a greater sense of trust in your own experience.

Transformation is not something we force. It emerges when there is enough support, awareness, and safety for the body to reveal what is ready to be seen, felt, and integrated.
